TS Academy, an African edtech platform focused on developing job-ready tech talent, has launched new digital and technology programs designed to help Africans build sustainable careers in the tech sector.

The new courses include AI & Automation, DevOps Engineering, Software Engineering, Product Design, Cybersecurity, Project Management and Data Analytics, offering practical, hands-on training that prepares learners for job roles in Africa’s fast-growing technology ecosystem.

Founded to address the barriers that keep many Africans locked out of tech opportunities, TS Academy takes a different approach to digital education. The Academy combines learning with mentorship, access to tools, and a clear pathway to work opportunities, ensuring that students complete courses and also build careers.

“We started TS Academy to solve a problem we kept seeing across Africa: People learn, but many can’t find opportunities to apply those skills. At TS Academy, our focus is not just on training people, but on connecting them to jobs, mentorship, and communities that help them grow,” said Adetola Durojaiye, Founder of TS Academy.

To make learning more accessible, TS Academy has awarded ₦1 billion worth of scholarships to 3,000 students across the continent. These scholarships cover tuition, learning materials, and access to digital tools, thereby removing financial barriers for aspiring tech professionals.

The Academy also runs a Student Experience and Career Support team that guides learners through every stage of their journey, from enrollment and training to internships and job placement. Students get access to one-on-one mentorship, peer

communities, and projects that simulate the kind of work they’ll face in global and local tech roles.

Beyond technical learning, TS Academy is also building partnerships with startups, employers, and innovation hubs to create a bridge between talent and opportunity. The goal is to build an ecosystem where graduates can transition smoothly into the workforce and contribute to Africa’s growing digital economy.

“Our goal is to ensure every learner at TS Academy has the chance to succeed. We help them build the right skills, develop strong portfolios, and gain the confidence to take on global opportunities. With the right mentorship and structure, they leave ready to take on meaningful work and build lasting careers,” Durojaiye said.

As Africa’s digital economy continues to expand, demand for skilled professionals in software, design, marketing, and data is on the rise. TS Academy’s new courses aim to close that gap, creating a new generation of Africans who are tech-literate, employable, and industry-ready

Enrollment for the new programs is currently open via tsacademyonline.com with classes set to begin in the coming weeks.
