Inside NexHRM – the all-in-one HR and workforce management platform built for Africaโs next generation of high-growth businesses.
Picture a founder. She runs a 120-person logistics company operating across Lagos, Accra, and Nairobi. Her team is growing. Her contracts are multiplying. Her ambition is unquestionable. And yet, every Monday morning, her Head of HR sits down to manually reconcile three separate spreadsheets, chase down payroll discrepancies across three currencies, and pray that nothing has changed in each countryโs statutory compliance requirements since last quarter. Something always has.
Across sub-Saharan Africa, from boardrooms to the startup ecosystem, this is an operational crisis eating into the continentโs most promising businesses, one mismanaged HR process at a time.
The numbers are sobering. Africaโs labour force is one of the fastest-growing on the planet, projected to surpass 1.1 billion workers by 2030, according to the International Labour Organisation (ILO). Yet businesses across the continent continue to lose significant operational efficiency to fragmented, manual HR processes, a systemic drain on productivity and growth.
Three founders saw this not as a problem to commiserate over, but as a continent-sized opportunity to solve. The result is NexHRM.
The missing infrastructure
NexHRM was built to replace all of it. Not with a patchwork of point solutions and integrations, but with a single, unified HR software platform purpose-engineered for the realities of African business. It is, in the simplest terms, a comprehensive, cloud-based ecosystem for the end-to-end employee lifecycle.
From an AI-powered Applicant Tracking System (ATS) that scores candidates on demonstrated, real-world competencies, to a multi-jurisdiction Payroll Management module that automates statutory compliance across borders simultaneously, NexHRM is the direct response to what African business leaders have long demanded: intelligent, reliable, scalable HR software that works the way African businesses actually operate.
Built on enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure and integrated with leading payment platforms for seamless local and cross-border transactions, NexHRM consolidates employee data, performance tracking, leave management, recruitment workflows, onboarding, and compliance into one secure, centralised environment. Its sister product, NexFinance, extends this into e-invoicing and financial management, making it a genuinely end-to-end business operations platform.
For business leaders, this means less time managing administrative fires and more time making the strategic decisions that move the needle.
Three Minds, One Continent-Sized Vision
Behind every platform that genuinely makes an impact are founders who have lived the problem for years.
Moses Durosaro โ Founding Partner & CEO
As Founding Partner and CEO, Moses Durosaro brings a rare calibre of financial and regulatory credibility to NexHRM. A Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Canada, his career spans over two decades of senior-level advisory work across blue-chip multinationals.
Through Mosaug Consulting, the financial advisory firm he founded in 2013, Moses has provided strategic financial and regulatory support to some of the worldโs largest corporations operating on African soil โ including Halliburton, General Electric, Baker Hughes, Bristow Helicopters, and Ericsson. In doing so, he observed at close quarters how global enterprises leverage sophisticated, enterprise-grade business infrastructure, infrastructure that the vast majority of African-owned businesses have never had access to or could not afford.
That gap was not a talent deficit. It was an infrastructure deficit. And it became impossible for him to ignore.
โThe challenge for African businesses isnโt a lack of talent; itโs a lack of infrastructure that scales with them. Every ambitious business on this continent deserves access to the same calibre of technology that powers a Fortune 500 company, localised, affordable, and built for where we are actually going.โ

Damilola Ogedengbe โ Co-Founder & COO
Co-Founder and COO Damilola Ogedengbe operates at a rare intersection: deep HR expertise and strategic people operations. With over 13 years of senior HR leadership experience spanning three continents, he has shaped workforce strategy at some of the worldโs most demanding organisations, including General Electric, Maersk, and Huawei Technologies, among others. He holds a portfolio of elite professional credentials from world-leading HR certification institutions, including SHRM, HRCI, CIPM, and an MBA, several fellowships and he has seen, firsthand, what world-class HR infrastructure looks and feels like from the inside.
He arrived at NexHRM with a practitionerโs conviction: the future of work in Africa is not a distant aspiration; it is already here, and it demands digital-first people infrastructure to match.
Ogedengbeโs vision for NexHRM is fundamentally a repositioning exercise. For too long, HR has been treated as a back-office function, a necessary administrative burden rather than a value-creating strategic engine. NexHRM is the instrument of change. By delivering real-time workforce intelligence directly to leadership, the platform transforms people data from a compliance record into a genuine competitive advantage.
The central challenge NexHRM tackles is one that keeps executives awake at night: how do you build a high-performing, compliant, and distributed team across a complex regulatory environment without scaling headcount in the HR department? The answer, he argues, lies not in more people but in smarter infrastructure.
โI have sat at the table in boardrooms across Africa and seen exactly what separates high-performing organisations from struggling ones: it is almost never just about talent, it is also about the quality of the systems behind the talent. NexHRM was built because I know what good looks like, and I know the majority of African businesses lack access to it. Until now.โ

Francis Oladosu โ Co-Founder & CTO
CTO and Co-Founder Francis Oladosu is the architect behind NexHRMโs technical foundation, responsible for ensuring that everything the platform promises, it actually delivers, at scale and without compromise.
With deep expertise in building resilient, enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure across high-stakes environments, Oladosu has engineered NexHRM around a principle that many SaaS platforms treat as an afterthought: Security by Design. From the ground up, data protection, access control, and compliance architecture are embedded into the platformโs core and not bolted on after the fact. The result is an infrastructure capable of handling sensitive cross-border employee data with the rigour that multinational-level operations demand.
In an era where a single data breach can unravel years of organisational trust, this is not a feature. It is a fundamental requirement.
โSecurity is not a layer we add at the end โ it is the foundation we build everything else on. When businesses trust NexHRM with their most sensitive people data, they need to know it is protected by architecture that was designed with that responsibility in mind from day one.โ

Why This Moment and Why It Matters
The timing of NexHRMโs emergence is not incidental. Several macro-forces are converging simultaneously to make the problem it solves both more urgent and more solvable than at any prior point.
The African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) is progressively unlocking the commercial potential of a unified African market of over 1.4 billion people. For ambitious businesses, cross-border hiring is no longer optional; it is a strategic necessity. But with it comes an exponentially more complex compliance environment: divergent labour laws, varying statutory deductions, multiple currencies, and distinct tax frameworks across 54 jurisdictions. Managing this complexity with spreadsheets is not a strategy. It is a liability.
Simultaneously, the global shift toward skills-based hiring is reshaping how organisations think about talent acquisition. In a world where academic credentials are increasingly unreliable as proxies for real-world capability, the ability to screen, assess, and hire based on demonstrable competencies – quickly, fairly, and at scale- is a significant competitive differentiator. NexHRMโs AI-driven recruitment infrastructure is built precisely for this new talent paradigm.
And then there is the distributed workforce revolution. Africaโs talent pools are increasingly spread across smaller cities and across national borders, accessible to employers for the first time. Managing a geographically distributed team across time zones, regulatory regimes, and cultural contexts demands a level of HR technology sophistication that legacy tools and manual processes were simply never designed to provide.
Human capital: Africaโs true currency
There is a version of this story that is purely about software: about modules, integrations, and cloud architecture. That version is accurate, but incomplete.
The more important version is about what happens when African businesses stop haemorrhaging efficiency through administrative bottlenecks and start channelling that energy into growth.
When a founder in Abuja can make a hiring decision backed by real workforce data rather than gut instinct and a stack of CVs. When a CFO in Accra can execute payroll across three jurisdictions without dedicating three days and two external consultants to the task. When an HR Director in Nairobi can walk into a leadership meeting with strategic workforce analytics and not just headcount figures.
NexHRM is positioning itself not merely as a best-in-class HR software solution, but as a critical people infrastructure, the foundational layer upon which Africaโs next generation of companies will build high-performing, compliant, and scalable organisations.
Africa has long been described as the continent of the future.
What NexHRM and its founders understand and are beginning to act on is that the future does not wait for better tools. NexHRM is that tool, and it is already being built.
