These days, job sites are a kobo a dozen, so to speak. A lot of them offer users nothing more than a platform for finding and applying for jobs. Little or no effort is focused on giving the average job-seeker reliable information about the companies they’re applying to, so they can make informed decisions. Ngcareers.com is looking to fill that void.
Ngcareers is not new to the job space – it’s been around since 2009 – but this latest iteration differentiates itself from other Job Listings site in 2 major ways:
Company Reviews – Anonymously user generated reviews of companies by current and former employees. This proposes to democratise workplace information
Career Communities – Interact with other users across various fields, ask questions and seek advice to improve your career.
Ngcareers 2.0 rolled out in February and they claim users have already submitted more than 600 reviews for over 200 companies/organisations. Ngcareers is self-funded by the brotherly duo of Paul and Andrew Eze.
