Vivian Mbene was officially appointed as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Breet on the 15th of January, 2025. With Breet now operating under Inbreetic Technologies, she is stepping in to help take the company to new heights. But if you think that title means sheโs all suits and spreadsheets, think again. Vivian is rewriting the COO rulebookโone emoji at a time.
For starters, she hates custard. โThe taste, the smellโI just canโt,โ she says. Oats? Even worse. But her favorites? The melting face ๐ซ emoji and the pawpaw dance sticker. At this point, theyโre basically part of her personality.

Beyond the memes, Viv is big on authenticity. โYou have to know your values before putting yourself out there,โ she says. Imposter syndrome? It creeps in sometimes, but her trick is simple: โWhenever I doubt myself, I look at how far Iโve come. Progress is proof that you can figure things out.โ
When inspiration strikes, sheโs not one to overthink. โIf I have an idea, Iโd rather try it than sit and wonder โwhat if?โโ she says. Thatโs exactly how things run at Breetโexperiment, test, tweak, repeat. โAs long as it doesnโt wreck the company, creative risks are worth taking.โ
Speaking in an interview with Vivian, she mentioned her superpower, teleportation. โImagine skipping long flights and just appearing where you need to be.โ But until thatโs a reality, sheโs happy with another powerโkeeping the team on their toes. โYes, I will disturb you for updates,โ she jokes. โBut seeing things come together? Totally worth it.โ
When asked how she handles failure, her response was simple. โItโs not the end unless you stop. Most failures are just redirectionsโyou learn, adjust, and keep going.โIn the spirit of new ideas, Viv also teased something excitingโBreet 3.0 is coming soon! A brand-new version of the app with shiny features would be available to the public in a bit. With a COO like Viv leading the charge, Breet is proof that bold moves, creativity, and a little fun are the secret sauce to success.
