Grazac Academy, a subsidiary of Grazac Innovation Hub based in Ogun State, Nigeria has launched a free Web3 training program designed to equip Nigerian youth with the skills needed to start a career in blockchain development.
“In the last 4 years, we have trained over 500 young talents in Web 2 and connected a few of them to entry-level jobs in the technology industry. However, the world is rapidly evolving, and we must prepare youth for the future of work. Transitioning to Web3 can be expensive, so we’ve created a free 4-month program to ease this journey for talents in Africa,” said Victor Adeleye, founder of Grazac.
Web3 represents the next evolution of the internet, prioritizing decentralization and giving individuals control over their data, content, and transactions. This training will not only prepare participants to thrive in this space but also empower them to build blockchain products that address local economic challenges.
The training is tuition free for 4 months and is delivered onsite or virtual. Applicants are expected to have background knowledge in any programming language with a ready to learn mindset and a working laptop before applying to join.

At the end of the training, our talents will have experience in deploying live smart contracts on mainnet and for us, this training goes beyond just the hard skills but talents will have access to mentors and soft skills training that will help them ace their interview and enhance their employability skill because the market is the ultimate boss, added the Business manager, Adebayo Oluwaseun.
