The internet is practically inherent in every sphere of our daily lives. It becomes important that everyone who relies heavily on the internet for their work, not just policy makers, should be aware of the policies that govern this technology they have to depend heavily on.

To that effect, Paradigm Initiative Nigeria will be hosting an Internet Policy training session for 3 days in Abuja. To be taught by a team of experts, the workshop will feature daily panels and discussions on advocacy strategies and technology tools.

Those  interested in attending this workshop will have to satisfy 2 criteria:

  • They must be situated in the North-Central geo-political zone
  • Must be working with Media, Civil Society Organisations or Legislative Aides.

If you fulfil the above criteria, you can start applying now before 11:59 PM on Wednesday the 9th of July.

There are only 30 spots available. Successful applicants will be selected based on how the above criteria and how much they are likely to benefit form the program. Participants from outside Abuja will be responsible for their own accommodation and transportation to the venue, but coffee/tea and lunch will be served.
