Over the past week, I have had both the Infinix HOT 60 Pro+ and the HOT 60 Pro in my hands, testing them side by side, not to declare a winner, but to understand where each one shines.
The HOT 60 Series is Infinix’s latest show of innovation, and at the top of the line sits the HOT 60 Pro+, officially the world’s slimmest 3D curved-screen smartphone at just 5.95mm thick. The HOT 60 Pro shares much of the same DNA but is tuned slightly differently to meet a wider range of user needs.
This review will help you spot the differences and decide which one works best for you.
What’s in the box?

For the HOT 60 Pro+, here’s what I found in the box:
- The HOT 60 Pro+ unit
- 45W fast charger and USB-C cable
- Transparent silicone case
- SIM ejector tool
- Pre-applied screen protector
The HOT 60 Pro ships with the same set of accessories. It’s nice to see that Infinix still includes essentials like a charger and case, something that is becoming rare these days.
Design and Build

The HOT 60 Pro+ stands out instantly for its slimness and style. At 5.95mm and a weight of 155g, it’s featherlight and sleek, with a premium aluminum mid-frame and curved edges that feel great in the hand. Its floating camera module and Halo lighting give it a futuristic feel.
The HOT 60 Pro is slightly thicker at 6.6mm and weighs 170g.
Display and Comfort
Both phones feature a 6.78-inch AMOLED display, 144Hz refresh rate, and 1.5K resolution. These are solid specs for binge-watching, gaming, or reading on the go.
Where they differ: the Pro+ peaks at 4500 nits brightness, which I found extremely useful under harsh sunlight. The Pro’s screen is bright too, just not to the same intense level.
They both come with AI Eye Comfort and Sleep Aid Mode, which adjust the display based on ambient light and time of day. I used Sleep Mode nightly and did notice less strain while scrolling at night.
Performance
Under the hood, both devices run on the MediaTek Helio G200 processor, a new 6nm chipset designed to balance performance and power efficiency. I ran multiple apps, streamed, and gamed on both, and didn’t see major differences in speed.
That said, the Pro+ includes 11 layers of thermal materials and an ultra-thin vapor chamber. So while both perform well, the Pro+ stayed cooler during longer gaming sessions. If you’re into FPS games like PUBG or Free Fire, you might enjoy the hardware gyroscope and Esport Pro Control Engine that come with the Pro+.
Camera: 50MP sensor
On paper, both phones have a 50MP rear camera and support Infinix’s AI RAW image processing. But the Pro+ is fitted with a Sony IMX882 sensor, which is designed to perform better in low light.
I took nighttime photos on both. The Pro+ offered more detail and sharper focus in dim conditions, while the Pro produced solid shots in daylight and casual indoor lighting. Both support 2X zoom and full-pixel autofocus, so you’re still getting a capable camera system either way.

Battery life & Charging
Each phone packs a 5160mAh battery and supports 45W fast charging. I was able to go over a full day on a single charge with moderate use on both. Charging from 1% to 50% took about 23 minutes with both phones.
The Pro+, however, uses non-silicon doping battery tech, which allows the battery to be thinner and boosts longevity. Infinix claims it retains 80% health after 1,800 charge cycles. If you plan to use your phone for 3+ years, this matters.
Audio, Biometrics & Extras
The HOT 60 Pro+ comes with JBL-certified dual stereo speakers and in-display fingerprint unlock.
The HOT 60 Pro has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and single speaker setup.
Both models include:
- IP64 (Pro) / IP65 (Pro+) water and dust resistance
- NFC Touch Transfer
- UltraLink Free Call (which worked impressively during a Bluetooth test across a football field)
Software & AI Experience
Running on XOS 15.1.1, both phones feature:
- Folax AI assistant
- AI Vogue Portraits
- AI Eraser 2.0
- Call summary & translation
I particularly liked the Always-On display themes and smart tools like Image Extender, which helps fix badly framed photos.
The Pro+ seemed more fluid when multitasking, which is likely due to its Memory Fusion 4.0 and better thermal handling.
Circle to Search with Infinix AI
One feature that stood out to me is Google’s Circle to Search feature, built into the AI toolkit. With this, I was able to press and hold the power button, draw a circle around anything on the screen (image, text, product), and instantly search Google without switching apps. It’s perfect for snapping, searching, and solving in real-time, making the HOT 60 Pro and Pro+ especially attractive if you are a student or researcher.
Which phone suits you?
Get the HOT 60 Pro+ if you:

- Want better heat management for gaming
Go for the HOT 60 Pro if you:
- Want strong performance at a more affordable price
