Eight years ago, Oluwatosin David was quietly refining digital products behind the scenes – today, he’s shaping the future of product design across continents. Known for transforming messy business problems into clean, human-centered solutions, Oluwatosin has become a household name in Africa’s growing design ecosystem. From Lagos to London and beyond, his design thinking is not just about aesthetics, it’s about results.
At the heart of his impact is the D-SIGHT™ Framework, Oluwatosin’s brainchild and now a go-to methodology for startups and scaleups aiming to build user-first products that drive growth. Combining Data Insight, Storytelling, Iteration, Growth strategy, Heuristic analysis, and Tech feasibility, D-SIGHT™ has earned praise for its clarity, structure, and effectiveness.
“I created D-SIGHT™ because too many products were launching without purpose,” Oluwatosin explains. “Design must not just be beautiful, it must be intentional, scalable, and measurable.”
A Framework That Solves Real Business Problems
The D-SIGHT™ Framework isn’t a theory on paper. It’s a practical engine that has powered tangible outcomes. One West African SaaS company reduced churn by 28% and increased onboarding completion by 33% after implementing the model. A fintech platform reimagined its user journey with D-SIGHT and saw a 22% boost in daily active users.
Companies across finance, healthcare, education, and legal sectors have seen measurable ROI after applying the framework in product audits, re-designs, and MVP rollouts.
But what makes D-SIGHT™ special is how it speaks both to product teams and business executives. It translates UX goals into boardroom value, helping stakeholders make faster, smarter decisions.
“It’s about aligning the product’s soul with the business’s heartbeat,” says Oluwatosin.

Building Community While Building Products
Beyond frameworks and deliverables, Oluwatosin is deeply invested in people. As founder of IVENCO, he leads a globally distributed product design consultancy but also runs a training academy that has equipped over 300 budding designers, with more than 100 transitioning into mid and senior roles.
Whether mentoring through IVENCO, leading community initiatives, or judging design challenges, Oluwatosin has become a pivotal force in nurturing Africa’s design talent.
From his time at Alpha Training Lab, where he built a curriculum that graduated 50+ designers, to his early success at GEN128 Solutions, where he boosted conversion rates by 18% for B2B clients, Oluwatosin has consistently shown an ability to connect vision with execution.
Recognition and Reach
His work hasn’t gone unnoticed. Oluwatosin has been profiled in The Guardian, Vanguard Allure, Nigerian Tribune, and was named a Global Tech Hero at The Connected Awards in 2025. In 2024 alone, he earned the African Icon of Our Generation Award and was inducted as a Fellow of the Institute of Management Consultants – a rare feat for a product designer.
He’s spoken at major conferences like DevFest Lagos and the Digital Africa Conference, always using the stage to spotlight the intersection between human-centered design and enterprise value.
What’s Next?
Now, Oluwatosin is building out a digital toolkit version of D-SIGHT™, aiming to democratize access to design strategy for founders and small teams, especially in underserved markets. He’s also exploring partnerships with accelerator programs across Africa and Southeast Asia to embed D-SIGHT™ into early-stage startup pipelines.
“Good design shouldn’t be a luxury reserved for big tech,” he says. “It should be a right for every founder trying to build something meaningful.”
In a world saturated with interfaces and iterations, Oluwatosin David offers something rare: clarity with impact. He’s not just designing screens, he’s designing systems, businesses, and futures.
And from the looks of it, he’s only getting started.
