On Saturday, July 12, 2025, Tech Cirvee Fest 2.0, powered by Cirvee Academy, a leading tech academy in Nigeria and led by its Founder/CEO Amb. Nimi Adegbite, once again raised the bar, drawing over 5,000 students, tech lovers, creatives, and professionals to Ibadan’s most electrifying tech event yet.
From its inception, Tech Cirvee Fest has pioneered a new style of tech event in Nigeria — one that’s inclusive, entertaining, and unforgettable. Last year’s first edition made history by becoming the first tech event in Nigeria to feature a mainstream artiste performance, headlined by Nasboi. This year, Peruzzi lit up the stage with a thrilling live performance, cementing Tech Cirvee Fest as the only tech event in Nigeria to consistently feature top-tier music artistes as part of the experience.
This year’s edition was officially partnered with the Oyo State Government and proudly headlined by Jeroid, with the support of major sponsors including Zoho, MTN, Citizens Pensions, OH Mobility, Apex Networks, and others who believed in the vision of connecting tech, culture, and youth in a unique way.
The festival became a star-studded spectacle with appearances from Shank Comics, Tobi Bakre, the Mbadiwe Twins, Olumide Oworu, and BBN Season 9 winners Kelly Rae and his wife Kassia, to mention a few, turning the event into a true celebration of tech, youth, culture, and influence.
Tech Cirvee Fest 2.0 was brilliantly hosted by Mr. Hyenana and Hadassah, delivering charisma, humour, and energy from start to finish. In addition to the entertainment, the event featured two powerful panel sessions:
• Transitioning into Tech: Tech Courses That Changed Lives, which unpacked the most in-demand courses and how attendees can dive into them. Panelists included Olajumoke Awonorin, Adefemi Adele, Emmanuel Michael, Abayomi Olatunji, Elizabeth Akinyemi, and Adesola Oguntimehin.
• How Tech Has Transformed My Industry, which explored the ripple effect of technology on business, entertainment, and other sectors. Panelists included Tobi Bakre, Jeremiah Mayowa, Temitayo Oloyede, and Tijesuni Simire.
The audience also heard from distinguished voices such as Felix Bissong (Gen Z HR), Hon. Ayo Adeagbo (Special Adviser to the President), Dr. Seun Fakorede (Executive Assistant to the Oyo State Governor on Youth & Sports), and Kehinde Ogundare, Zoho’s Nigeria Country Manager (represented), among others who shared powerful insights on leadership, innovation, and the future of technology in Nigeria.
One of the most powerful moments of the festival was when Cirvee Academy graduated its latest cohort of students live on stage, celebrating their achievements in front of the massive audience. Graduates walked the big stage to receive their certificates while being cheered on by celebrities and industry leaders. Awards were presented to the best-performing students, and the most outstanding student was refunded her full ₦250,000 tuition fee — a life-changing surprise.
Beyond the graduation, Cirvee Academy gave back massively to the community, awarding ₦5 million in grants, gifting MacBooks and other tech tools, and creating scholarships to help more young people break into tech.
From inspiring tech panels and red carpet moments to celebrity meet-and-greets, scholarships, giveaways, and high-level networking, Tech Cirvee Fest 2.0 proved that tech doesn’t have to be stiff. It can be loud, fun, and truly impactful.
“This is more than a tech event. It’s a movement, and Cirvee proudly leads it,” said Amb. Toluwanimi Adegbite.
