Meetbox Africa, a trailblazing technology company revolutionizing video conferencing solutions, made an unforgettable impact at GITEX Nigeria 2025, held in Lagos from September 3-4.

Meetbox captivated attendees with its state-of-the-art hardware integrations for Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and Google Meet, alongside a crowd-pleasing branded robot dog, K9 the Ultimate.

At the heart of Meetbox’s success was its interactive booth, designed as a live experience center showcasing seamless hybrid meeting setups.

Visitors explored advanced products like the Yealink A40 & A50, Crestron UC systems, and Board Pro with floorstand lift, all demonstrating crystal-clear audio, auto-framing cameras, and one-touch meeting joins. These solutions addressed the growing demand for reliable, secure, and inclusive communication tools in Nigeria’s booming digital economy.

“GITEX Nigeria was a game-changer for us,” said Kehinde Awoyinfa, co-founder of Meetbox Africa. “We saw Nigeria’s tech ecosystem in action—startups, investors, and global giants all under one roof. Our goal was to show how Meetbox can power the future of hybrid work, and the response was phenomenal.”

The company’s focus on integrating enterprise-grade hardware with platforms like Microsoft Teams positioned it as a key player in supporting sectors like fintech, cybersecurity, and IoT, all central themes of GITEX Nigeria 2025.

The star of the show, however, was K9 the Ultimate, a Unitree Go2 robot dog branded in Meetbox’s vibrant colors. K9 danced, shook hands, and guided visitors to the booth, embodying the company’s vision of making technology approachable and human-centric. “K9 was our way of standing out in a sea of innovation,” Awoyinfa explained. “It sparked joy, drew crowds, and opened conversations about our smart conferencing solutions. It showed that Meetbox is about creating connected, engaging environments.”

Meetbox’s strategic goals at GITEX included forging partnerships with Microsoft Cloud Solution Providers, AV integrators, and ISPs, while also attracting investors to scale operations across West Africa.

The event’s focus on cloud, AI, and telecom aligned perfectly with Meetbox’s offerings, which support secure, encrypted communication for fintech and IoT-driven smart offices with globally compliant hardware.

The company’s presence at GITEX Nigeria 2025 not only validated its product-market fit but also amplified its brand as a leader in Africa’s tech transformation. “This was our moment to dine with giants,” Awoyinfa said, referencing a Yoruba proverb. “We’re leaving GITEX smarter, stronger, and ready to lead.”

For African innovators considering global platforms like GITEX, Meetbox’s message is clear: “Show up. Your ideas belong here.” As Nigeria cements its role as a tech hub, Meetbox Africa is poised to drive the future of collaboration across the continent.
