A Mix is a curated playlist of movies, shows, or user-generated clips. Users can browse trending titles, add them to a Mix, and invite their crew to watch on their own schedule. StreamBix handles the reminders, ensuring no one misses a premiere.
Discover and Share
The Home tab surfaces popular content across genres, including Nollywood, K-drama, Anime, and Afrobeats. Community reactions, likes, and comments make discovery more fun and relevant than traditional doom-scrolling.
Seamless Video Upload
Users can upload their own videos directly to StreamBix, perfect for curating Mixs or sharing original content. The platform ensures that every upload is high-quality yet lightweight, guaranteeing smooth playback on all devices, even with slower internet connections.

StreamBix is introducing critical new technologies to ensure a superior viewing experience for all users, regardless of their location or internet speed.
StreamBix is tackling high bandwidth costs and slow internet speeds with P2P Local Streaming. This feature allows devices in proximity and on the same Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or local network to share video content directly with each other. By enabling direct device-to-device sharing, StreamBix significantly reduces server load and bandwidth costs, resulting in smoother playback and an enhanced viewing experience for all users on the local network.

StreamBix is expanding beyond watching and curating into real-time broadcasting with Live and Live+.
Live – Broadcast in the Moment
Users can now go live directly from their mobile devices, turning everyday moments into shared experiences. Whether it’s a music session, movie commentary, behind-the-scenes look, or casual hangout, creators can stream publicly to the entire community or privately to selected viewers. During a live session, viewers can comment in real time, reactions and likes flow continuously, and creators can engage instantly with their audience. Live transforms StreamBix from a watch-together platform into a create-together ecosystem.
Live+ – Extend the Moment
When a live session ends, creators have flexible options to preserve their content. Save as Now makes the live replay immediately available on their profile for on-demand viewing. Save as Loop converts the live session into a recurring or highlight-based format that can be added to Mixs or reshared within the platform. This ensures no great moment disappears. Content can continue generating engagement long after the broadcast ends.
