Joseph Brendan
Co-Founder and Technical Manager
Joseph Brendan is a prominent figure in African tech, serving as co-founder and technical lead of Dev & Design. As a renowned instructor, his 10-hour UI/UX course on YouTube, in partnership with freeCodeCamp, has educated millions globally.
Driven to “build builders,” Brendan co-founded Dev & Design in Nigeria to bridge the gap between raw talent and industry-ready skills, developing Africa’s next generation of product creators through structured courses in design, product thinking, and development.
Brendan led the capstone that transformed students into founders, supported by Programs Manager Mrs. Victoria Edoziem. Teams used AI to solve real problems, from research to shipping products, with projects evaluated by a panel led by Nseabasi Udondian.
