Lagos-based Information Technology Developers Entrepreneurship Accelerator (iDEA) has announced that it will be holding a demo event for four startups in its cohort.
The participating startups are NERVE Mobile, HUTBAY, AFROBUS and VERGE. The startups will pitch before a group of select Angel Investors, venture capitalists and industry insiders. The event will mark the graduation of these startups from iDEA’s four-month accelerator program.
“The iDEA Acceleration Program is a mentor driven 4-month program consisting of 3 modules (design, build, pitch), which has helped them (the startups) to launch and grow market share, and has prepared them to raise funding for their businesses. The sessions are led by experienced mentors, who have had a significant impact in driving business performance, refining business models and fine tuning product & service offerings.” the hub reveals.
The event will take place at iDEA’s Lagos Centre, Lagos on June 20, 2015.
