Nigerian payments switching company, Interswitch has announced a strategic partnership with fuelvoucher, a online fuel purchase and management service.
Fuelvoucher allows individuals and corporates monitor fuel usage via online tracking of fuel consumption, budgeting and reconciliation, and is one of the startups in 440.ng’s first startup accelerator cohort.
According to the presser announcing the partnership, fuelvoucher’s online and mobile fuel purchasing systems, as part of the partnership, have been integrated with PoS terminals deployed by Interswitch to service stations across Nigeria.
“The partnership will allow consumers to make payments for petroleum products on all Interswitch payment channels including Quickteller, ATMs and Mobile, and vouchers can be redeemed at every petrol station with the Interswitch PoS,” the company says.
