Africa Business Angel Network (ABAN) and the Lagos Angel Network (LAN) have announced its first Angel Investor bootcamp will hold this July.

It’ll be the first in a series of the bootcamps that will take place across the Africa and dates for the Nairobi and Cape Town series are provisionally set for August 13 and August 29 – 29 respectively. The theme of the series is “Unlocking capital for early stage innovation.”

According to an emailed press release to TechCabal, the goal of the bootcamps is to mobilize the early stage investing community in Africa.

“The intended audience is new aspiring investors who want to learn about early stage investing as well as seasoned, experienced investors looking to engage with peers,” ABAN said.

The bootcamp series is supported by the US State Department, VC4Africa and the LIONS Africa Partnership.
