The 5th edition of the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year awards, is open for nominations for candidates in East and West Africa.
The award seeks to acknowledge innovative entrepreneurs who have created thriving enterprises. Nominees are expected to be individuals “creating a flow-on of success for those around them, generating employment and industrial growth, driving the economy and progressing society”.
Nominations will be in the two categories: the Master entrepreneur and the Emerging entrepreneur. The minimum turnover threshold to participate in the emerging category is $5million while $75 million is for the master category entrepreneurs.
Submission of nominations in West Africa closes on 14th August 2015 and that of East Africa closes by 31st August 2015.
