The organisers require that applicants be either software developers or UX designers. They are also expected to be open to feedback and willing to collaborate.

The first edition of the open house will hold on the 28th and 29th of August in Lagos and iDea says it hopes to forge a synergy between the incubator and higher institutions via the programme, and also have more students embrace entrepreneurship and technology.

The Open House initiative is currently open to student innovators in University of Lagos and Yaba College of Technology and freelancers based in Lagos, with plans to extend the programme to Obafemi Awolowo University and Covenant University in November.
