Remember the Nokia Normandy, that Android-powered device that Nokia has reportedly been working on, and planning to reveal in 2014? We now have a better idea of what the User Interface might look like, thanks to images leaked yesterday by @evleaks on twitter.
With a simple caption, “Android on Nokia ( -virtual buttons)”, the leaked image shows us a glimpse of what Skype, the lockscreen and dialer might look like on the device. There’s a strong indication that the Nokia Normandy might be a Dual-SIM phone, as evident from the status bar in the image above.
There’s even more evidence that this device may be more real than we initially thought. Another leaked source sheds more light on what specs the device is likely to ship with – a 4-inch display, 5 megapixel camera, 854 x 480 display resolution, a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and running on Android KitKat 4.4.1 – complete with benchmark screenshots.
It’s looking more like this device will see the light of day, Microsoft acquisition or not. Either way, the consumer is set to win again in 2014. We’ll keep our ears to the ground for any further clues on the Nokia Normandy (aka A110).
