naijabite
Naijabite is a location-based app that offers a curated list of restaurants.

Developed by Sanju Bhambhani, Naijabite is a geotagging app also allows users locate, rate and review restaurants.

“The app allows users to satisfy their cravings by discovering great places to eat. It will enable them to share their discoveries,” Sanju says.

The App will enable users:

  • search restaurants and cafes nearby (or search by cuisine)
  • get detailed store information (address, phone, email, website and social media)
  • view store’s reviews and gallery (posted by users, not store owners)
  • rate and review a store
  • upload pictures to a store’s gallery

It is not quite clear which city or cities will be covered by the app. However, these things are typically restricted to Lagos. There’s just not that much going on anywhere else.

Naijabite sure reminds one of other location based app like Liveoo and particularly Foursquare, another restaurant search app. It will be interesting to see what unique functionalities (if any) Naijabite will provide.

The app is yet to be launched but Sanju assures that it will be available for iOS and Android devices.
