KINETIC

Leaders in the eCommerce industry were guest speakers at the e-commerce event which took place in Cape Town International Convention center, on the third and fourth of this month in Cape Town, South Africa.

The conference, which was packed with different sessions such as keynotes, panel discussions, tech demo sessions and networking, focused on bringing the latest trends and industry developments. An overview of the event saw over 40 speakers, 50 exhibitors, 30 sessions and two days of networking. Sim Shagaya (Konga) and Raphael Alphaedor (Jumia), individuals who are shaping the ecommerce landscape in Nigeria were also on hand to add cherries to the pie.

“The progression of eCommerce – from brick to click and mobile”, “Building for Future Retail: the merging of the physical and virtual world” were some of the salient points addressed.

COMMERCE

The conference couldn’t have come at a better time mainly because consumers today are getting more informed than ever, as their smart devices keep them updated to the ever changing virtual world of digital commerce, irrespective of their location. This paradigm implores service providers to devise new strategies to serve these new generation of customers in order to demonstrate their tact in the area. New technologies, mobile trends and (or) same-day-delivery services are some of the tools companies are employing to meet such demands.

“The eCommerce Africa Confex is more than just another eCommerce event; it is designed with those entrenched in e-Commerce in mind. Leaders in the industry have been consulted to tailor an agenda that is both current and topical. Kinetic would like to say thank you to all members of the advisory panel, without whom, the exhibition and conference sessions would not be the same.” in a statement on the Kinetic website.

Kinetic, an international conference and exhibition company established as a key strategic information provider to IT and Telecoms sector, equips senior management executives with knowledge, market intelligence and viable commercial opportunities.
