BeFunky is a free photo editing suite and photo collage maker created by BeFunky Inc.
The photo editing suite has the usuals: cropping, frames, texts, stickers and the likes. The photo collage maker can be used to put together a maximum of nine pictures.
BeFunky has similar functionalities like other photo editing apps, however the absence of watermarks on edited images gives it an edge.
According to the company, “BeFunky simplifies technically complex photo editing into more efficient and user friendly tools, which are used by professional photographers and artists as well as the everyday users.”
You need to visit their website to be able to utilize BeFunky’s functionalities on a PC. It works across all platforms: Mac, Windows, Linux, Chrome 0S, etc. In app purchases can be made to improve the user experience.
The mobile app is free and doesn’t require the user to sign up. Users can also share their edited images directly to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Flickr and Tumblr.
Founded in 2007, the mobile app can be accessed by the user even without internet access while the online platform primarily requires internet access — though once the editing page is opened, editing becomes possible offline.
The mobile app version of the photo editor is available on Google Play Store for Android and the App Store for iOS.
