Developed by Zimbabwean startup, Tana Communications, PayAlive is an online payment processing service.
The platform allows users create bills, transfer funds, carry-out payments while employing multiple payment solutions and accept payments.
This service is open to everyone including online merchants, brick and mortar shops and individuals.
Registration for the service is free and users are not charged on peer to peer transfers.
In addition to this, Tana Communications have also developed a mobile wallet option, PayAlive Direct that can be used to receive payments.
PayAlive will however face stiff competition from other payment processing platforms in Zimbabwe, such as PayPal and Vpayment
PayAlive Direct is available on Google Play Store for Android devices.
