Google has released a new calendar app for iPhones and Android.

The new Google Calendar app automatically syncs events on the user’s gmail account and also offers smart prediction when entries are being entered.

The schedule view is interactive and personal as it enables users add images and maps to the schedule.

According to Robin Züger, Product Manager, Google Calendar, “The new Google Calendar app helps you spend less time managing your schedule and more time enjoying it.”

The Google Calendar works with all calendars on the Android device and iPhones and also backs up the users schedule online.

The time management mobile app was first released in 2006 in beta and the final version was released in 2009. For Android users this is an improvement on the earlier version.

The app is available on the Play Store for Android devices and the App Store for iPhone.
