The Malawian job listing platform, Myjobo has partnered with mHub, Malawi’s tech innovation hub to launch Jobonology Mobile App Challenge, Disrupt Africa reports.
According to a news release on the event’s website, the challenge will focus on using technology to address local health issues. The event theme; “How can Mobile Technology address the health sector issues in Malawi.”
“The contest is open to individuals or a team (not more than three) Malawians under~ 35 years.” organisers say.
The Jobonology mobile app challenge will run from May 1 to July 1. The first 2 weeks of the challenge will see developers submit product ideas and the succeeding six weeks will be for development and submission of finished projects.
The winner will receive $2,000 in seed funding and will be incubated at the mHub in Lilongwe.
