Gossy Ukanwoke, founder of BAU Research and Development has been selected to participate in the Ernst and Young (EY) Accelerating Entrepreneurs program.

According to a news release on their site, Gossy is now one of the final six candidates who has a chance of being named Entrepreneur of the Year at its EY’s World Entrepreneur of the Year event in Monaco.

EY World Entrepreneur Of The Year is a business award for entrepreneurs. It encourages entrepreneurial activity among those with potential and it aims at fuelling entrepreneurial growth while giving participants a platform to take their businesses to the next level.

Bryan Pearce, Global Leader, EY Entrepreneur Of The Year and Venture Capital, said, “The EY World Entrepreneur of the Year event brings together some of the world’s finest and most accomplished entrepreneurs, many of whom have grown to become global market leaders.”

The six participants will receive mentoring from “Growth Coaches” at EY World Entrepreneur Of The Year, where they will network with leading entrepreneurs from around the world.

The Entrepreneur Of The Year program cuts across more than 145 cities in 60 countries.

The event is slated to hold between from June 3 to 7 in Monaco.
