Ghanaian mobile network operator, Airtel, has completed the expansion of its fibre optic network in Accra, Kumasi and Takoradi, according to a report from IT News Africa.

The expansion is designed to enable an ample lifestyle for customers, who are continuously on the go, to access several video content, the internet, connect to social media and conduct advanced transactions via Airtel.

“Customers can take advantage of the benefits of the increased speed from 21.6mbps to 42mbps on compatible devices that the Smartphone network brings to consumers, small businesses and enterprises,” said Manu Rajan, Marketing Director, Airtel Ghana.
