Nairobi-based startup incubator, iHub has announced that it will host a delegation of French tech startups, SMEs and investors next week.
The event is hosted in conjunction with bpifrance and Business France, the Trade & Investment Office of the French Embassy.
Through this meetup, the French delegation will seek to better understand the Kenyan tech ecosystem and also seek ways of forging collaborations between both ecosystems.
“This is certainly a great opportunity for the Kenyan tech community, and a great step towards scaling their innovations globally. It is also a chance for the tech community to possibly learn about French technologies that have the potential to disrupt their businesses and in turn the market”, the Hub states in the announcement.
The event will take place on June 9 at the iHub by 5:30pm and will close with a pitch event involving startups in Nairobi and from France. French tech companies participating in the pitch event include A2iA, Famoco, Intersec, Linagora and Siradel.
