“You Are Already Her.” That sentence set the tone for the HerSynergy Tribe Summit, a gathering designed to help young women find clarity in their careers, embrace new opportunities, and unlock their full potential. Themed “Unleash Her Potential,” the summit created a space for learning, reflection, and meaningful connection.

In her welcome address, Hillary Omitogun, founder of HerSynergy Tribe, reminded attendees that growth isn’t about becoming someone else but about uncovering the best version of yourself  “the best version of you is waiting for you to unleash her,” she said.

HerSynergy Tribe is more than a community. It is a movement built to support women in tech at all stages of their professional journeys across the EMEA region. What started as a simple idea to help friends has grown into something much bigger. Hillary shared how she met her co-founder, Tolu Ajibola, whose passion for supporting women made her an essential part of the Tribe’s growth.

Tolu read heartfelt testimonials from members, stories of women who landed new jobs, gained confidence, and learned to advocate for themselves at work. “The Job Search Council helped me when I was searching. I not only got the job—I learned how to negotiate my salary too,” one testimonial read.

Emphasising the practical impact of the community, Tolu added, “We are not just a group of women who gather to talk. We actively support one another through job searches, relationships, and mental health challenges.”

The keynote speech was delivered by Adaeze Onwubuemeli, Head of Customer Success at Moniepoint Inc. Speaking on the theme of unleashing her potential, she urged women to confront their fears and grow from within.“You can be scared and still take the next step,” she said, reminding the audience that our greatest limitations are often self-imposed.
True growth, she added, isn’t always loud or immediate.“Sometimes, it’s quiet, consistent, and intentional,” she said.

The day featured four impactful panel sessions, each designed to explore a different dimension of women’s empowerment.

The first session, Self-Care: Putting You First, was a gentle yet powerful reminder that prioritizing yourself isn’t selfish, it’s necessary. Panelists shared their personal journeys toward self-awareness, confidence, and setting boundaries. They spoke about how many women are raised to prioritise others’ needs above their own and the importance of unlearning that mindset for true fulfillment. Attendees were encouraged to lean into their authenticity, speak up in rooms that once felt intimidating, and take up space in work, relationships, and life. The panel also stressed the importance of mental health and embracing “Me Time.”

The second session, Career Pivots & Finding Your North Star, explored the twists and turns that often define a woman’s career journey. Panelists from diverse industries shared experiences of starting over, embracing change, and redefining success. They talked about the discomfort of leaving the familiar behind and the growth that comes with bold pivots. “Sometimes, career growth is not linear,” said Solabomi Oreagba, General Manager at Viathan.
“Your North Star isn’t always a job title. It’s the intersection of what lights you up and what adds value to the world,”  Opeyemi Oduwole, Head, Family Office and Private Clients at KPMG, added.

They also emphasised mentorship, community, upskilling, and reflection as key supports during transitions.

The third session, Building Wealth & Financial Freedom, focused on financial empowerment. It offered practical strategies for taking control of one’s finances and building lasting wealth. Speakers began with the basics, such as understanding income, budgeting, and saving, before diving into investing, risk, and diversification.
A key message echoed throughout the session: “You don’t need to earn millions to build wealth. You just need a plan.” “Understand your limits. Your financial journey should reflect your goals, values, and risk tolerance,”  Oyelade Eigbe from Vetiva Capital said.

The final session, Building Thriving Businesses Beyond Tech, featured women excelling in fashion, media, and lifestyle. Renike Olusanya, co-founder of Bawsty, shared her journey of building a brand for busty women.“Making my customers happy is what makes the work worth it. When you do that, they’ll return,” she said. Fifunmi Osinubi, founder of 21 Mag, emphasised the importance of self-belief and creating a reliable business structure while Bella Adeleke of Cokoon highlighted the role of confidence, experience, and mentorship in building a sustainable business.

The summit concluded with a special session called The Fair Mother, a heartwarming initiative where women offered mentorship, paid courses, and valuable resources to support others in need.

From start to finish, the HerSynergy Tribe Summit was a celebration of courage, clarity, and community, a powerful reminder that she is already within you, waiting to be unleashed.
