Rocket internet’s e-hailing service, Easy Taxi has extended its service to Nakuru county, the fourth largest urban center in Kenya.
With over 600 taxis signed on to the service as at September 2014, Easy Taxi’s service was previously limited to Nairobi and was the most visible in the state until the arrival of Uber in January, 2015. The expansion of its service to Nakuru will make it the only e-hailing service operating outside Nairobi.

For its first month of operation in Nakuru, Easy Taxi is offering commuters Ksh 400 ($4) off their first ride by using the the promo code, FIRST.
