South African telecommunications service provider, Telkom is set to reduce its tariff plan on internet bundles and also extend the same pricing options and value for on-network customers to those on its roaming partners.

Telkom’s new rates now bundles at 29c per MB for prepaid customers.

Itwebafrica reports that this was made possible due the unifying of its Telkom Mobile and all network bundles into a single set of prepaid options. The company also indicate that its customers will have national network coverage with all prepaid data packages and this will also be extended to roaming on the MTN network.

“We have revised and simplified our data bundles in order to provide the best value and service to our customers. We believe everyone should have access to the data they need, when they need it.” says Attila Vitai, Telkom managing director; consumer and mobile services.

Just this month, Telkom introduced an uncapped LTE-based high-speed wireless broadband services, currently available in 29 areas in Gauteng.
