The Fintech and ecommerce-focused conference, Afrikoin, will take place this December across three African cities; Johannesburg, Accra and Nairobi.
This year, Next Bank is hosting the event with support from the Barclays Bank, Thomson Reuters, Savannah Fund and Smarter Tree.
“The conference aims to bring together fintech focused investors, financial institutions, service providers in the fintech space, and innovators including startups and corporates in the financial services space,” Next Bank says in a statement to TechCabal.
Discussions will focus on; regulation as enablers of innovation, alternative Banking Models, payments, prepaid Economy and Agriculture Finance technologies
Some of the expected speakers and panelists include the co-founder of Snapscan, Kobus Ehlers; Dov Girnum, founder of Merchant Capital and Eran Feinstein, Managing Director, 3G Direct Pay.
