The Abacus team, led by Joel Macharia as the CEO and Kevin Omwega as the director, have more than ten years of market experience. Abacus was one of the startups that participated in 2015 DEMO Africa event

.

You can download this app for free but subscription to the pro version comes at a $9.76 monthly fee.

Abacus is designed for investors who want to buy, sell and monitor their shares on the go and is licensed as a data vendor by the Nairobi Securities Exchange. It also provides a profile on all the companies listed on the NSE, including information about their previous stock market transactions.

The app provides news updates about the NSE and an option that lets you add any company you’re interested on a Watchlist.

Abacus works for the NSE the way Stock Market HD and Stock Tracker work for NASDAQ, DOW JONES and S&P 500 by providing indices that are easy to follow and understand.
