Barely two months after the opening of their ed-tech incubation space, CcHub has announced they are organising a hackathon that will hold next week at their Abuja centre. Tagged “#BuildForMyCity” participants of the hackathon are to think up ideas that can improve the way people live, work and interact with public services in Abuja.

The Hackathon will run from May 27- 29, 2016 at the re:learn centre First Floor, TY Danjuma Foundation Building, 35 Faradina Close, Off Aminu Kano Crescent, Wuse 2, Abuja. This event is not just for developers and designers; digital marketing experts, marketing communication experts and business brains are invited too.

Individuals or teams can either submit their ideas or participate and develop prototypes that can be tested in the FCT.

Interested parties who wish to see #BuildForMyCity in their parts of the country can also apply to host a hackathon in their neighbourhood.

This hackathon is a great way for our Abuja folks to show what they’re made of. If you can’t make it but you know someone (that knows someone) that can, you should definitely spread the word. For more information, you can visit the #BuildForMyCity website.
