IT company Brindocorp is organising a meetup/software hackathon for developers, tech enthusiasts and students in Lagos on Thursday, October 13, 2016 from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM (WAT) at Cedar Point Events Centre – 4, New Era Road Iyana Ipaja, Lagos.

Named ISDEV (Innovative software developers), the event is a meetup that will support and train attendees on how to create smart software and applications that support a variety of platforms. For the hackathon, teams can build whatever hardware, software, or technology-related projects they can come up with. These teams can be made up of as many as 5 people, and all projects will be judged based on creativity, technical difficulty, design, cleanliness and usefulness.

Brindocorp provides IT solutions (websites, mostly) for companies and they hope to improve software development in Nigeria through their ideas. This hackathon is their way of contributing to the community and providing avenue for people to learn in a fun environment.

This is the first ISDEV event and it’s open to everyone – students, teachers and even entrepreneurs. All you need to do is come with your laptop and a great idea. Registration is free and there’ll be food. If you’re interested, register here.
