TAMBO Mobile has recently released some cool devices that will be attractive to any mobile phone lover in Nigeria. The smartphone maker is at the verge of charming their way into the hearts of many with quality and affordable devices that will excite consumers in different sectors of the market.

We present to you the TA-55…

The TA-55 boasts of a decent selfie camera, an intelligent fingerprint scanner and Google’s Android GO operating system.

A 1.3GHz MediaTek processor powers the TA-55 – this quadcore processor is paired with 1GB RAM and 16GB ROM. Surprisingly, the device handles multiple tasks without any lag which is quite commendable. Whether you are gaming, watching videos or running other heaving applications, the device seems to maintain its performance and cool all through.

Though you would expect a 1GB RAM to have its limits which it does, however, for the classes of users which this device is targeted at, it is fluid enough to keep them going and give them the kind of experience they would desire.

The device is fashionable and conforms with the latest design trend currently being adopted by other prominent brands. Some interesting features on the device includes the App Freeze feature that prevents unused apps from running in the background, App Lock feature that adds an additional layer of security to your apps and Multi-Account option which makes it easy for a user to run multiple accounts on platforms such as Facebook and WhatsApp amongst others without having to go through third-party applications.

TAMBO TA-55 also dons a massive 4000mAh battery which seems different from the usually 4000mAh we see around as this stays longer and feels lighter in the hand.

The device is available in Champagne Gold and Black.

The vice presidential debate is over and Nigerian Twitter is awash with comments about how smart some of the candidates’ responses were and how some others simply fell hand. Anticipation ahead of the elections is building just as is excitement around the potential usefulness of blockchain technology across various fields. Sadly, some of us may not even get the chance to cast a vote next year.

As far as I can recall, I’ve owned seven phones in the last nine years, four of which forcefully ended up with people who needed them more than I did. Out of the remaining three, I recall handing one down to a younger sibling and disposing another in a waste bag during spring cleaning. I haven’t given much thought to where my current phone will end up when it no longer serves its purpose. Until now.
