Babatunde Adegbite is a Nigerian-born software engineer based in the UK. He has a decade of experience building high-performance, scalable, and accessible web applications. While earning a degree in chemistry, his passion for problem-solving and technology led him to embark on a self-taught journey into software development. His career spans multiple continents, and he has worked with fast-growing startups in Nigeria, the United States, and Europe. Currently, Babatunde is a Senior Software engineer at Contingent, a leading London-based startup helping businesses achieve sustainability goals. At Contingent, he spearheaded the adoption of SvelteKit, optimizing performance and improving conversion rates. He was instrumental in developing a Sustainability CoPilot, leveraging AI-powered technologies like Vertex AI and OpenAI to help businesses meet environmental targets. His contributions played a role in Contingent securing $20.2M in funding from leading UK investors.

Oladosu Oladimeji

Oladosu Oladimeji is a PhD researcher at Atlantic Technological University under the MOCHAS Postgraduate Research Training Programme. His research focuses on medical image analysis for breast cancer screening using AI, specializing in explainable lightweight deep learning models. He has published several peer-reviewed research articles and presented at international conferences. He also serves as a reviewer for multiple journals in the areas of computer vision, medical image analysis, and health informatics. He holds a Master’s degree with distinction in Computer Science from the University of Ibadan and graduated with First Class Honours in Computer Science from Bowen University, Iwo. Before pursuing his PhD, he worked as a lecturer at KolaDaisi University, where he taught Computer Science and Software Engineering courses. Oladosu was a major team member in the winning team of the National AI Challenge organized by TechIreland, supported by Google and OpenAI. He has also actively contributed to the tech and academic communities by volunteering and facilitating workshops, engineering, and IT events.

Andrew Nwanakwaugwu 

Andrew Nwanakwaugwu is a Nigerian Tech Professional living in the UK. He is a Professional Member of BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT and the founder/pioneer chair/mentor of University of Salford British Computer Society Students Chapter, where he teaches, and mentors people interested in tech careers. He also served as BCS Specialist Ethics Group member, where he worked with the specialist committee and the UK Government to brainstorm, develop and recommend responsible AI Policies to the UK Government. He is a results-driven Tech professional with a master’s degree in data science, and hands-on experience in transformational change projects, research, data analysis, and data visualization, utilizing SAP, Microsoft packages, SQL, Python, AWS, Power BI etc. Andrew is a UK Global Talent Visa recipient, and coach. In less than a year of getting his UK Global Talent Visa, he has helped couple of people to get the UK Global Talent Visa and connects people to Global tech opportunities. He currently works at Accenture UK, where he works as Functional and Industry Analytics Analyst and UK Data and AI new joiners’ rep, delivering Data and AI projects for Accenture clients and mentoring Data and AI new Accenture joiners. He has led the Diversity and Inclusion pillar in one of the biggest Accenture client accounts and currently serves as the Accenture Manchester UK Analyst Consulting Group (ACG) Training Lead.

He is an editorial board member with Elsevier and IGI Global, where he reviews the research work of reputable scholars from different parts of the world. Andrew is passionate about digital product design, AI, management, data migration, and the extraction of actionable insights from complex datasets for the purpose of making informed decisions. To give back to the community, he volunteers as the Head of IT at Equal Education Chanes, where he teaches and mentors kids/youths on tech. Frederick Oscar

Frederick Oscar is a data expert and tech advocate with a passion for turning raw data into powerful business tools. As a Data Scientist at Adioo Technology, he leads the development of market-ready applications that help companies make smarter, data-driven decisions.

Frederick earned his Bachelor’s degree in Management and information Technology, ISCOM University and is currently pursuing a master’s in Information Technology through the University of Abuja’s distance learning program. His research focuses on artificial intelligence (AI), particularly in simplifying complex systems for real-world applications.

Beyond his professional work, Frederick is deeply committed to making technology more accessible across Africa. As Lead Program Coordinator for the Mac Anderson Initiative, he has designed training programs and equipped facilitators to teach digital skills. His collaborations with the Bank of Africa and various NGOs have helped over 18,000 individuals gain expertise in coding, data analysis, and AI, opening new career opportunities in tech. In recognition of his contributions, he received the Humanitarian Digital Inclusion Award (2024).
