Pryme  a multi-currency financial platform serving individuals, freelancers, and businesses, has been accepted into the Google for Startups Cloud Program. This milestone marks a significant step in Pryme’s journey to enhance its technical foundation, scale operations across multiple geographies, and accelerate the development of intelligent financial products.

As part of the collaboration, Pryme will leverage Google Cloud’s suite of services — including Firebase, BigQuery, Looker, and Cloud Run — alongside access to infrastructure credits, training resources, and technical mentorship. These capabilities will support the company’s efforts to optimize performance, strengthen reliability, and deploy scalable services as it grows its footprint across Africa, Europe, and North America.

“This partnership with Google Cloud reinforces our ability to build a secure, intelligent, and scalable infrastructure,” said Edoka Idoko, Founder and CEO of Pryme. “It aligns perfectly with our ambition to deepen our presence across key markets, launch new innovations, and deliver a seamless financial experience to users around the world.”

The announcement comes amid Pryme’s ongoing capital raise, with a signed investment term sheet already secured as part of a broader funding round. The company is actively engaging additional strategic investors to complete the round, which is designed to fuel product development, operational scale, and customer acquisition across its target regions.

The Google Cloud partnership also plays a foundational role in the company’s preparation for the launch of Pryme Business — an upcoming solution designed to serve freelancers and companies with integrated multi-currency accounts, cross-border payment capabilities, and productivity tools to help users scale and operate more efficiently.

With over half a million installs and increasing demand for smart, accessible financial tools, Pryme continues to invest in the technology and partnerships necessary to support its mission: enabling individuals and businesses to manage money, unlock growth, and thrive in a global digital economy.
