Speaking on the collaboration, Dr. Vincent Olatunji, National Commissioner/CEO and Chairman of the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC), described the partnership as “an important step in strengthening data governance nationwide.” He emphasised the need for tools that make compliance accessible and actionable for all businesses, regardless of size. The National Commissioner also proposed the establishment of a dedicated working group to ensure the framework’s successful implementation.
