Transport stakeholders and industry partners gathered at the GIGM Product Conference (GPC) 2026 on April 23, 2026, at the Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.

At the event, God is Good Motors (GIGM), an African mobility company, unveiled a roadmap for the Nigerian and continental market.

Under the theme ‘Integrato— Integrating the Mobility Ecosystem’, the company detailed its transition from a traditional transport service provider to a comprehensive digital mobility ecosystem, launching new products designed to bridge the gap between various travel needs.

Opening the conference, the Chief Executive Officer of GIGM, Dr Enahoro Okhae, set the tone by reflecting on the company’s heritage while looking toward a digital future.

“Great companies build confidence in markets and raise standards. Great companies prove that innovation can come from Nigeria, and continue to move things forward in Africa. For many years, you have known GIG Mobility as a transport company, and we are very proud of that legacy,” Okhae said.

He emphasised that while the company remains proud of its over 40 terminals and the trust built across the nation, the philosophy of Integrato reflects a belief that the future belongs to connectedness rather than isolated services.

“We know the world is changing, and obviously, the customer needs are changing. Customers expect digital access, and that’s why we are always going to go digital,” Okhae added.

Representing the Commissioner of Tourism, Arts and Culture, Toke Benson-Awoyinka, the Deputy Director of Hotel Licensing, Adenike Quadry-Adebowale, highlighted the role of the private sector in national development.

“Innovations define travel, not just as movement, but as experience. The future of mobility is not distant. It is being built here today, and it requires all of us: the government as an enabler, the private sector as innovators, and communities as participants,” Quadry-Adebowale stated.

She asked for the integration of transport systems with cultural districts and major events to ensure every movement within Lagos reflects its potential.

A major highlight of the event was the unveiling of hireX by GIGM, a premium vehicle hire marketplace product.

Members of the board of directors joined Quadry-Adebowale on stage to launch the product, which connects customers with verified luxury car vendors for on-demand or scheduled bookings.

The service, the company noted, is tailored for clients who value professionalism and flexibility, offering executive and corporate travel, airport transfers, and private charters.

Addressing technical enquiries about the new marketplace, the Head of Product at GIGM, Charles Oloyede, clarified the operational model.

He explained that the service is integrated directly into the GIGM application, allowing for hourly or daily bookings.

“We don’t control the price; we have a lot of partners we work with. So you can pick the [price] that best suits you. It is affordable,” Oloyede stated.

He further assured guests that all vehicles undergo rigorous inspection processes to ensure they are suitable for the target clientele.

While the service is launching in Lagos, Oloyede confirmed plans for expansion into other cities.

The conference also saw the introduction of a second product, Premium Access to Simplified Services (PASS), which Okhae described as a global ticketing platform rather than one limited to Nigeria.

PASS is designed to be an end-to-end solution that lets users book bus travel, air tickets, hotels, and airport pickups on a single platform.

Okhae also highlighted that the company had already curated tours for Kenya and a digital tour for Singapore, with hotel curation expected to follow shortly.

He also noted that the company currently operated tourism buses in Abeokuta, Ogun State, and Ibadan, Oyo State.

Expanding on the operational scope of the new platform, the Head of Operations and Hospitality at PASS, Kamso Emmanuel, described the service as “a one-stop shop” for individual and corporate travel.

Emmanuel stated that the inclusion of facilitators to assist with immigration and check-in, as well as ground handlers in locations like Malaysia and Morocco.

He also revealed that the company was developing payment plans for the product to “demystify travel”.

The Chief Operating Officer of GIGM, Jude Odum, concluded the product presentations by discussing the company’s technological advancements, specifically the incorporation of Artificial Intelligence (AI).

Odum announced the introduction of AI chatbots on the company website to enhance customer service and internal efficiency.

“GIG is on a journey of incorporating AI into everything that we do to help the team work better and serve the customers. The first expression is that in the chatbot,” Odum explained.

He also spoke on enterprise solutions focused on corporates, which leverage GIGM’s 30 years of operational capability to help businesses harmonise their travel itineraries.
