GE Garages comes to Lagos, Google events are happening simultaneously and online training for startups are ongoing. Here are the events you should be looking out for this week.
GE Garages’ Next Stop: Lagos
The Lagos GE Garage will focus on training the community on new manufacturing and production technology. Attendees get the benefits of free classes and workshops, work with technical experts, hear from curated speakers and panels that will help bring their skills to life, learn more about business planning for their start-ups and learn more about advanced manufacturing technology and processes. A permanent Garages facility in Lagos will be established later this year to help train students for Nigeria’s growing Power Generation industry.

Google I/O Extended
The Google I/O extended is a viewing party+speaker sessions and discussions happening at the same time with the actual I/O event. It will be taking place at about 6 GDG chapters in Nigeria (and worldwide).
