Hokfam, a technology company founded and led by Nigerian entrepreneur Ikechukwu Emmanuel Arum, has secured Second Prize at the recently concluded Lloyds Bank Tech Hackathon in Leeds, England.
Competing against some of the brightest tech teams across Leeds, Hokfam impressed the judges with its prototype application LeedsLink, a B2C software app designed to connect local businesses and service providers with communities in their immediate locality. The app helps residents, students, and small businesses quickly and affordably access trusted services while keeping value within the Leeds community.
The achievement not only earned Hokfam second place in the competition but also opened the door for further collaboration with Lloyds Bank on exciting new technology projects. As part of the recognition, Hokfam will also travel to Edinburgh, Scotland, to participate in future opportunities and showcase its innovative approach to community-driven software.
