    The African tech space has been busy today. Here are some stories you may have missed:
    1. Microsoft unveils the Windows 10 and the HoloLens; that holographic goggle that allows users interact with three-dimensional rendering of the GUI.
    2. Whatsapp users can now access the app via the web, but this latest offering is currently not available to iPhone users. Tough.
    3. CcHub releases a new role playing game Street Tinz. This role playing game morphs you into a virtual entrepreneur navigating the dark and tangled startup space of Lagos, Nigeria.
    4. The 10th edition of UX Lagos Meetup will go down just 8 days from now, on Thursday 29 January 2015 from 5:30PM – 7PM (CET)
    5. International Bureau of Advertising announced that BBC is the official sponsor of its 2015 digital summit holding next month in Jo’burg, South Africa.
    6. Uber said it has created over 2000 jobs since its 2013 launch in South Africa. It aims to create 15,000 more in the next two years.
    7. East African carrier, Wananchi Telecom, and Epsilon have partnered in a move that will see Wananchi expand its network and connect its East African customers to more than 170 countries worldwide.
    8. The U.S. Department of State has organised a Social Entrepreneurship Bootcamp for social entrepreneurs in Southern Africa and applications are now open.
    9. Nigerian online shoppers can now make credit purchases online when they use FirstBank’s Naira Credit card designed in partnership with Jumia, Nigeria’s leading e-commerce.
    10. Mama Money launched today. The South African startup is hoping to save immigrants and refugees living in South Africa up to 270 percent on remittances.
