Technovation invites young women within the ages of 10-18 for its 3-month technology entrepreneurship program and competition.

Teams made up of five girls will work together to research, design, and build a mobile app prototype with the assistance of a female mentor in technology or engineering. Afterwards, the team get to pitch their apps/startup businesses to judges. Feedbacks will be gotten from the judges, prospective investor and professionals.

There are two divisions in the competition: middle school (14 and below) and high school (18 and below) divisions.

One team from the middle division will win $10,000 in seed funding and a trip to World Pitch in San Francisco. Eight teams from the high school division will win a trip to World Pitch in San Francisco to compete on the global stage and the winning team goes home with $10,000 in seed funding.

You can enrol into Technovation as a student, teacher, coach, mentor, ambassador, volunteer or a donor.

Almost 3,000 young women from 28 countries have created mobile app on the Technovation platform. The program is free and open to participants with or without prior experience on programming.
