Faithful to Nature, an organic e-commerce platform in South Africa has raised $800,000 from Silvertree Capital, an Africa-focused business incubator.
Disrupt Africa reports that the the investment was facilitated by U-Start, a global boutique investment advisory firm. Faithful to Nature will employ the fund raised to accelerate its reach through various avenues.
“We are driven to become market leaders in the green retail space and we’re excited to have as dynamic a partner as Silvertree to support us with our ambitions,” said Robyn Smith, founder and CEO of Faithful to Nature.
Faithful to Nature has an inventory of organic products in South Africa, including food, household products and the likes. The company has posted a over 70% year-on-year revenue growth for the last three years.
