    Case Foundationโ€™s Pitch for Lagos event will hold tomorrow, July 30th, with a group of pre-selected startups vying for the $50,000 cash prize.

    Organised in partnership with the Co-Creation Hub, EchoVC, Lagos Startup Week and Africa 2.0, the program is aimed at โ€œcelebrating entrepreneurship in Nigeriaโ€.

    โ€œPitch for Lagos will celebrate Nigeriaโ€™s entrepreneurial communities, convening leaders and discussing the future of Lagosโ€™ start-up and impact investing scene,โ€ the organisers said.

    The event will hold at the Co-Creation Hub in Yaba. The agenda is as follows:

    2:30pm: Fireside chat introducing the competition and the importance of entrepreneurship ecosystems

    3:30pm: Pitch event with select startups across sectors

    5:00-6:30pm: Reception and prize announcement.

    Case Foundation is a United States-based investment outfit founded by AOL co-founder Steve Case and his wife Jean Case. The foundation recently awarded a $25,000 cash prize to Wanjo Foods in a pitch event held for startups in Ghana.
