Ethiopia’s ICT Centre of Excellence and ZTE Ethiopia will host the fourth annual National ICT Innovation Contest Award tomorrow, June 30th.
Disrupt Africa reports that the ICT Innovation Contest will see a total of $22,000 in cash given away with the overall winner getting $3,600.
The event will have startups pitch before a panel of judges looking for innovations capable of adding to Ethiopia’s socio-economic development.
ICT Centre of Excellence director Tewodros Mebratu also indicated that the contest is positioned to increase women participation in the ICT sector.
