Here is something that should interest ecommerce aficionados.
Affiliate Shop is home to a series of WordPress plugins designed to solve certain problems for online marketers and webmasters who wish to join the e-commerce ecosystem and earn money without losing sweat.
Founded by the duo of Agbonghama Collins (Co-Founder, Lead Programmer) and Nosagie Nosa-Ero, (Co-Founder, Lead Designer), the Edo based website promises users, “you can create affiliate stores in few minutes.”
“The plugin will “automatically import products, description, images and price from Jumia and display them on the recipient website. There is an option to add user’s affiliate ID, so commission is gotten from every sale made,” the creators told TechCabal.
There’s a lengthy tutorial on how to setup your own wordpress-powered ecommerce website, along with how to install and integrate the plugin to draw affiliate links to the website. Currently, the plugin is only available for Jumia and Konga, with more to be added later on.
The Affiliate Shop website also runs an affiliate system, where users can get commissions for each referral to the plugin they may make.
At the time of writing, the plugin was only working for Jumia, with Konga “coming soon”. The site launched on July 23, 2015.
