3G Direct Pay now has a PCI DSS clearance

E-commerce payment solutions company, 3G Direct Pay has received the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) compliance certification.

TechMoran reports that the The PCI DSS LEVEL 1 certification will be applicable in all 3G Direct Pay branches in Kenya, Tanzania, Zanzibar, Zambia, Uganda and Rwanda.

“PCI DSS level 1 compliance means that any credit card and customer private information we handle on behalf of our merchants and their customers is protected by multiple layers of security,” says Eran Feinstein, MD, 3G Direct Pay.

Feinstein also indicated that the company sought the certification to provide evidence that controls and safety features were complied with.
