Gidilounge is a digital media company that hopes to reinvent the way Africans discover, listen and enjoy African Music. The company offers online media products such as music streaming service which connects users with music and makes it easy and simple to search for and play any song, album, artist or playlist of their favorite African musicians.
Gidilounge created Gidilounge Radio, a 24/7 Mobile Radio station, which provides a mix of talk, music, and African entertainment as well as the Gidilounge African music streaming app available for Android, blackberry and iOS devices.
The Gidilounge team, Olumide Adewumi, Benny Alaga, Kingsley A and Olajide Olaolorun, created the startup to enhance Music discovery via mobile devices.
Based in Toronto, Canada, Gidilounge radio talk shows include ‘The Verastic Show’ and the popular twitter-interactive, #NoRubber.
