It’s indeed all about the youth. The Lifting Youth and Fostering Entrepreneurship boot camp (LYFECAMP) Lagos is a boot camp organized to help promising Nigerian student entrepreneurs from around the country build successful, sustainable ventures that would in the long run reduce youth unemployment. The camp will help entrepreneurs progress by aiding them in solving their biggest challenges, marketing, technical, or otherwise; teaching them skills necessary to grow their organization, and finally, introducing them to the contacts (investors, mentors, etc.) they need to realize their dreams.

During the bootcamp, which aims to bring entrepreneurs, mentors and investors from around Nigeria to the Wennovation Hub, Lyfecamp registered young entrepreneurs, “cadets” will be invited to pitch their products in a competitive environment with said investors and other entrepreneurs present.

Lyfecamp is the brainchild of Temitope Isedowo, Sola Lawal and Chinedu Okoro and is set to launch on the 19th of June, 2014. The startup has its base in Yaba, Lagos.

Lyfecamp is issuing an invitation to prospective cadets as well as angel investors. The set date for hearing final pitches from the cadets is Sunday, June 22, 2014. Interested applicants or investors can get more information from their website.
